McCall Design provides a wide range of residential design services including planning, permit-ready drawings, project management and interior design.  We take pride in providing Portland homeowners great design, fun collaboration and budget-friendly ideas from new construction to restoration and everything in between.  We’ve built a strong team of top local vendors, contractors and sub-contractors to get your project completed at the highest level, on budget and with special attention to detail and function.

Principal designer and owner, Melissa McCall, first developed her love for architecture while growing up in northern New Mexico where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of New Mexico.

This passion for architecture eventually drew her to the Pacific Northwest with its beautiful old homes and innovative green designs. She gained great experience working on a variety of commercial, urban housing and hospitality projects for larger architectural firms in Portland before starting her own firm, McCall Designs, LLC in 2005. Melissa's design philosophy is to create inviting and functional spaces, structures and interiors that stand the test of time.
